I have the cinema version of this lens in canon EF mount. Bought the nikon mount photo version for my wife for christmas, she loves it.. I love mine. This is an incredible value for some really great glass. Sure it gets a little soft wide open, but all but the most expensive lenses do, and this thing is tack sharp at anything beyond f.2

By far my favorite lens. This lens just looks absolutely amazing and the manual focus is a lot easier to accomplish than I thought. If you are not willing to focus manually then I would really recommend you chose another lens, but if you don't mind flipping your camera to live view to make sure your on target, then this lens cannot be beat at this price point. A+ portrait lens that took my photography from hobby to professional with just a little patience and a little practice.
Great lens! Well built. Accurate smooth focusing which is ideal for manual focus lens. Beats Nikon famous 85mm f1.4 AIS lens wide open in sharpness. Excellent bokeh and colour reproduction. Boris Sirota www.photoadventures.com.au
I can't explain how much I like this lens. I use it mainly for film and I'm extremely happy with the results. I have slightly cheaper versions from other brands and the difference is from ground to sky. Looking forward to buy the Rokinon 35mm and 8mm to complete my collection :D
Beautiful lens for outdoor photography. Does not work well with strobe lights. It quickly replaced my nikon lens.
