I got two of these while setting up a small monitor system to use with my old Mackie VLZ16 mixer. Running the 4 monitor channels separately through each side of the two Rockville REQ215's allows me to control the frequency of each different monitor mix. They work great. Connected to 2 Technical Pro 3000's and 4 10 in 200 watt wedges the sound is full and clean. I also ordered one to go in my main rack rather than a larger one and it also works great, Really nice working additions for not a lot of cash (something young starving musicians, and old retired guy's like me, kinda have to take into consideration). Having bought several Rockville products in the past, I knew it was a safe bet that these units would be a very good buy because the quality of their products has been very consistent, Nice job again Rockville!Read full review

I got this because my old Soundcraftsmen EQ is in the shop for a while for rebuild. Price to performance on this Rockville unit is great. Preserves the dynamic range and imaging of source. No noise, dead quiet sliders, simple and effective gain control, no sound quality issues. I don't record with this, playback only in home (all tube) system. Unexpectedly excellent, this unit has no bad habits. Update- October, 2020- power supply gone, dropped 5 star rating to 3 stars because of that. Getting an ART unit instead. Rockville was great while it lasted.

I use this equalizer in church fellowship hall. Our mixer only has bass and treble controls, which is just not enough to bring the sound system to life and adjust for the unique acoustics of the fellowship hall. This equalizer made a wonderful difference. The "Sub Out" port help out as well. Note, the 1/4" inputs are for balanced 1/4" jacks (3 conductor).

A VERY CLEAN EQ. very little coloration unless you make extreme adjustments. Another reviewer knocked off two stars because the external EASILY REPLACED power supply went bad. Duh. That is a plus!!! Most EQs have built in power supplies which makes servicing them a major pain. All power supplies fail or degrade. (degrading in a way is worse, you'll end up with varying degrees of hum or noise in the system that is hard to track down) With the Rockville you just swap for another universal supply and get an instant upgrade.
