NM: Essentially pack fresh, may show minimal to no wear from play or shuffling. Most imperfections, if any, are not noticeable unless under close inspection. NM foils should be the same but also should not have any clouding.
SP/NM: Cards in SP/NM condition will show minimal wear although it is not typically noticeable unless under close inspection. Normally cards that fall into this category have a small defect affecting one side or small edge wear on a few sides.
Slight Play or SP: Cards in SP condition will show definite, yet minor, wear. Cards may also have minor scratches or edge wear from shuffling, although there is no fading or bends or creases in this category. Cards may or may not require a sleeve in a sanctioned tournament. Foils in this category may have clouding in addition to the defects noted.
Played: Played cards will have edge whitening on possibly all sides including, but not limited to, mild fading on the front and/or back, slight bent corner(s), depressions and mild to heavy shuffle wear. Cards in this category will required a sleeve for sanctioned tournaments. Foils in this category may have clouding in addition to the defects noted.
Heavy Play or HP: Heavily played cards will normally come with a basic description of what is wrong with the card(s). Normally heavily played cards show major wear including, but not limited to, heavy fading, minor bends and/or creases and possible ink markings. I typically do not sell torn or ripped cards, if they are, the description will definately say so. Cards may or not be legal in a sanctioned tournament because of fading on the cards. If needed for a tournament please ask before purchasing.
