Kaitlin's skin color has been applied in many thin layers using Genesis Heat set paint to create a natural look. Every finger and toe has been detailed for realism. I have added realistic marks and scratches that a real baby normally has. A heat set matte varnish has been applied to her skin to add texture.

Hair has been micro-rooted with premium curly blonde kid angora mohair, securely sealed inside. The hair has been rooted to the natural hairline.
Handpainted, barely there eyebrows.

Nose has been opened and backed with dark felt for depth and realism making baby a "breather:
Detailed veining, mottling, each crease & wrinkle carefully detailed.
Eyes, nose & mouth have been "moistened" for realism.
Handcrafted, jointed, peach colored doe suede body. Kaitlin is approximately a 19" baby that wears Newborn size to
0 to 3 month clothing (depending on the make of clothing!)

Each nailbed has been slightly colored and tipped to give a "just manicured" look to baby's fingers and toe nails. All nails have been sealed with a gloss varnish for durability and shine.
Sealed limbs & body stuffed and weighted with tiny glass beads (enclosed in sewn bag) and polyfill for realism.
All work is done in a smoke free environment!
