Welcome to the nursery of My Sweet Little Angels. My name is Jodie Lombardo, and I am the Nursery’s Reborn Artist. I have been reborning beautiful babies for 4 years now, and I enjoy creating babies more everyday. I am happy to introduce our newest addition to the nursery, “Charlize”. Charlize is the prototype of the new kit by Jade Warner. She has 3/4 arms and 3/4 legs. Charlize’s hair is directionally hand rooted, including eyelashes and eyebrows, using the finest kid mohair. She has been fully reborn using Genesis Heat Set Paints. I would like to thank Jade for giving me the opportunity to reborn Charlize. She was a pleasure to work on and I hope you enjoy looking at Baby Charlize. Please feel free to tell me what you think of her.
Charlize has the most beautiful real to life ethnic skin tone. Many, many hours have gone into producing this realism. Charlize has been fully coloured using Genesis Heat Set Paints. This means the colour does not wash off, nor will it chip or flake off. She has a gorgeous baby like African complexion. The life like mottled effect has been achieved through many layers of subtle shading. No crease or fold on her tiny body has been left unshaded, creating this realistic skin tone. She has also been covered in multiple layers of matt varnish. This means that she will never get that glossy shine from being "over loved"!
Charlize’s body and limbs are weighted using glass granules and fibre fill. This combination makes for a beautifully weighted and realistic baby. She has a custom made body, jointed at her arms and legs for full mobility. Her body is fully stuffed, making her a very cuddly baby! As there is no sand in Charlize, she can travel anywhere in the world!
To achieve Charlize’s beautiful head of hair, super fine kid mohair was hand rooted one strand at a time. It is directionally rooted making Charlize's hair stay neat and tidy. Charlize’s hair has been cut to a longer length, allowing her new mum many ways to style and curl it. As you can see, you can curl her hair, or keep it straight.
Charlize has the finest of eyebrows and lashes. They were handrooted using a very fine needle.
Charlize's ten tiny toe nails and ten tiny finger nails have been gently painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints. Her toes were given a pedicure and her fingers a manicure. All her nails were then sealed with two coats of clear satin, non yellowing gloss varnish.

Charlize will be coming home in all the clothes seen in her photos. She will also have her magnetic dummy and nappy. A birth certificate from My Sweet Little Angels will also be included, with her unique ID number. Also included is her Prototype COA from Jade Warner. Any other blankets or props remain the property of My Sweet Little Angels. There are magnets in Charlize, so care is needed around pacemakers and computers. Charlize will be carefully wrapped before being boxed and posted.
Payments must be received within 7 days of auction ending. LAYBY is AVAILABLE, just let me know before the end of auction. Contact by winning bidder must be made within 48 hours of auction close. Payments within Australia include PayPal, Bank Deposit and Express Post Money Order. International payments are by PayPal only.
Shipping and handling cost within Australia is AU $30. Overseas buyers can email me for a postage quote but it is usually around AU$95. The buyer is responsible for any customs charges or taxes.
