ROMAN P-shaped European FIBULA BROOCH - 220 AD 2977

This item is guaranteed to be an authentic ancient Roman artifact dating to 1500 years old or older.  I have viewed this item under a microscope to aid in authentication.

The reference for this brooch is Hattatt 487-489

(Hattatt's book is available in my store with hundreds of fibula types identified with drawings). 

This item was excavated in the Balkans.

Need some help identifying your artifacts?  When I first started out, I wanted to buy some books to read but I did not know what books to buy.  I now have a huge library of so-so books.  I have 3 or 4 books that I continue to utilize on an almost daily basis.  These books are available in my store.  They are invaluable as a resource to help attribute your items.
