I had purchased this remote previously so I had experience with it. I bought the first one at Walmart for $19.58 (tax included) and it lasted roughly two years and two months before some of the keys started wearing out and I'd had enough. However, I liked this model and it programmed all five of my devices (Onkyo Receiver, Comcast Cable, Samsung 46" LCD TV, Samsung Blu-ray DVD Player, and Panasonic VCR). I mostly got it because I'd researched that it would program Comcast and my Onkyo Receiver. It was relatively easy to program and basically replaces five remotes. It does its job and for $9.59 this time that's hard to beat.

I really like being able to program a majority of the buttons on the remote. I have 3 of these and wore one of them out. I wish I could open it up to clean the circuit board, but haven't figured out how to open it without using a hammer. Good luck finding this remote. I've resorted to buying used ones. Buy em if you can find em.

The product works great for me. It allows me to use the learn function and copies the remotes of my TV, DVR, DVD Player and AUDIO Receiver. This is a tremendous help and eliminates the other controllers. The learning feature is the key.

I have had several of these remotes and really like them. It can run every single device in my electronics set up. No more keeping multiple remotes on my end table.
