The Doctor's Notes -- Shipping Details & Other Important Policy Information
Shipping Lead Time is how long it takes between the time you pay for your order and the time we ship your order.
Shipping Lead-Time is generally 3 to 5 Business Days (weekends & holidays are not business days), though you should click on the "How Long Will It Take" banner above to get a better idea. Lead-times are still subject to change without notice if we get really busy, so if you have a specific delivery deadline in mind you should contact us through the eBay message center with your concerns BEFORE you place your order. Be sure to include the eBay item number and/or item title. We will get back to you shortly and do our best to accommodate your needs.
SHIPPING IN-TRANSIT TIME
In-Transit Time begins the moment a product leaves our facilities in Central PA and ends when the product arrives at its final destination. In-transit time always depends on your location.
In-Transit Time is generally 1 to 5 Business Days out from the date your products ship if you are in the U.S., and ranges between 3 to 7+ days if you are in Canada. Business Days do not include weekends or holidays. Items may take longer to reach you if you live in remote regions of Canada. Please review the chart below to get an idea of how many business days your package(s) will be In-Transit.
Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii is not available at this time. The cost to ship to these locations is extremely expensive to the point of being prohibitive, and returns are problematic. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Shipping to sole P.O. Box addresses and military A.P.O. addresses - We cannot ship to sole P.O. Box addresses or Military/A.P.O. addresses due to UPS and FEDEX limitations. Your shipping address must be a regularly accessible street address for a home, office, apartment, etc. If you are a customer who falls under this category and placed an order by mistake, your product(s) cannot be shipped and your order may need to be cancelled. In some circumstances, packages shipped to an in-eligible address can be re-routed to an acceptable alternate address. Please call us immediately for cancellation assistance or to inquire about having an order re-routed to an alternate address: 866-RoomDoc.
Shipping to a street address that also contains a P.O. Box number: Some home addresses in the U.S. are located in rural areas where most addresses contain both a street address AND a P.O. Box number. We WILL ship to addresses containing BOTH as long as the combined P.O. Box and street address refers to a proper dwelling or office.
How will your items be shipped? Unless otherwise stated, everything is shipped via FEDEX or UPS. Room Doctor reserves the right to choose and/or change the carrier at any time in order to serve you better. We have negotiated even lower rates than the FEDEX or UPS standard rates in most instances, and we take pride in passing those savings along to you. FEDEX or UPS orders generally go out as No Signature Required deliveries, except for some larger multi-piece orders. Some multi-piece orders may require a signature for delivery.
RETURN POLICIES AND REFUNDS
If your product is damaged or defective, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE US NEGATIVE FEEDBACK without giving us a chance to resolve the problem. Our highly trained Customer Service Staff is dedicated to serving you! Notify us immediately by calling (800) 755-8660 ext# 203 so our Customer Service Staff can assess the extent of the damage/defect and promptly correct the problem. It is at the discretion of our Customer Service Staff to determine whether a replacement part or product is necessary. Any product damages incurred by misuse or abuse will not be covered under our warranty. If our Customer Service Staff determines that a part or product must be returned due to shipping damage or manufacturer's defects, replacements will be shipped to you at no additional charge.
If your product is in sound and resalable condition and you wish to return it: A full refund minus shipping costs both ways will be honored if you simply don't want the product(s). A 15% restocking fee may be assessed on some products. You must first notify us within 15 calendar days of your receipt of the product(s) that you intend to return by calling 866-RoomDoc. You will be given a Return Authorization Number and our Customer Service Staff will guide you through the return process, answering any questions you may have.
Regarding futon frames and other wood products. Must be securely re-boxed and taped for return shipment. Refunds will only be processed after the product(s) return to our manufacturing facility. Refunds are contingent upon product inspection.
Regarding futon mattresses. Not all futon mattresses are returnable due to the way they are packaged, so do not remove futon from package if you wish to return it. Please call (800) 755-8660 ext# 203 for more specific instructions.
If you cancel your order before it ships, we will honor a full refund; no questions asked. If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped from our facilities, a full refund will be issued minus shipping and handling charges both ways.

We offer a 10-Year Full Warranty against manufacturer's defects on all pine wood products we manufacture. Products sold by but not manufactured by Room Doctor are subject to the rules and regulations stated in the manufacturer's warranty included with the product at time of sale. Damages caused by misuse or abuse of the product(s) are not covered by warranty. Warranties are not transferrable and are only honored for the original owner.
