This is a lovely fluted edge Taylor and Kent Bone China Cup and Saucer set commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, June 2, 1953. I have no other information on the age or history of this piece. There are maker's marks on both pieces - take a look at the photos. There is a small chip at the top of the cup on the back side on the lip, a small amount of wear on the gold edging on both pieces. Dimensions: Cup - 3 1/2" X 2 3/4" Saucer - 5 1/2" D Shipping rate is for US locations only. E-mail me for international shipping rate. I will be happy to combine shipping. Just ask. I am clearing out my mother-in-law's estate full of British Royal Memorabilia and other antiques. She was British, and had a very extensive collection she worked on accumulating over the course of her life. The collection includes; Victoria, Edward VII and Alexandra, George V and Mary, Edward VIII, George VI and Elizabeth, Elizabeth II, Charles and Diana, Fergie and Andrew, Princess Anne, and the birth of Prince William. There are mugs, cups & saucers, plates, glassware, tins, decanters, spoons, coins, trays, Wedgwood, ephemera, and many other types of items. I also have lots of toasting forks, horse brasses, brass bells, and other English brass. Watch for my upcoming auctions, or contact me if there is a particular piece you are looking for.
