This new full service log lodge is situated in the middle of a vast wilderness area on its own (300 sq. km.) 75,000 acres of exclusive rights territory for hunting and fishing. The access by float plane is always one of the highlights sportsmen look forward to.
This remote setting along with the modified catch and release program provides great opportunities for trophy northern pike and will insure the reputation the area has for large and numerous walleyes.
Spring time we offer Black bear hunting on baited stands providing the hunter with his best chance for a trophy of a life time. September and October is moose hunting time. The rustic log lodge offers other amenities such as a game room, poker table, pool table, bar, 24 hr. snack bar, tackle shop and a real favorite, the open bar with beer on tap and house wines. A great room with the stone fireplace and leather sofas and chairs provide a comfortable place to relax after a long day. The lower level game room is also used as a private conference room.
We understand that this is only half the picture. The fishing quality is just as important. This is assured through the catch and release policy and the use of barbless hooks. Being located on our own exclusive rights territory of 75,000 acres enables us to manage the fishing and hunting to a higher standard than most others.
Pike and walleye are the primary species but don't rule out others such as sturgeon in the spring time. Fishing with one of the experienced guides not only increases your overall success, but will help you gain knowledge on techniques and equipment. The shore lunch is another real bonus for those who are willing to tear themselves away from the fishingnt from .
Getting to the lodge by the de Havilland "Beaver" floatplane from one of our pickup points is a highlight that many look forward to each year. We offer this service from our main base at Berthelot Lake Lodge located 68 miles gravel road north east of Senneterre Quebec. Obaska on route #113 south of Senneterre is another. These and others are priced according to distance. The price on ebay is for the pick up point from obaska Quebec.
We practice catch and release except for a walleye here and there used for meals. The barbless hooks rule is an important part of the overall plan for quality fishing for the future. Guides will provide helpful tips.
