Psychic Tarot Card Tea Fertility Reading Reproductive Health Planning Pregnancy

I've studied the Tarot, tea leaves and many other forms of divination for over twenty years. I learned to read my own cards as a teen and soon after, began reading for close friends and family. Word got around that my readings were quite accurate, so in no time at all, I was reading for friends of friends, people I did not know.  It would be many years before I actually charged for a reading, but my path was clearly chosen.

In my early twenties, I met an elderly lady who read gypsy cards. Despite stern advice from my mother to,  "stay away from that weird old broad"  (verbatim quote)  I felt  drawn to her. Some of this was my youth and likely my destiny - regardless, I was hooked. This eccentric soul came from a country (Romania) and a time in history so unlike my own.  And her stories, half fact, half fable, were every bit as charming as she was.

Much to my mother's chagrin, this neighbour became not only a friend, but a mentor of sorts and I couldn't stay away. Many evenings were spent watching her spin a golden needle over pregnant tummies, forecasting the sex of the unborn child. Other times, she'd jumble rocks inside a special box, looking for patterns to predict the doom and gloom of some unfaithful beau. She threw salt over her shoulder;  looked at clouds and watched the path of birds. There was no such thing as coincidence or serendipity. She had a way to divine everything and in her universe everything meant something! Like some character out of novel or an old B&W movie, she was as unique as they come and you couldn’t have paid for these type of “lessons”. To this day I consider myself truly blessed.

As integral to my spiritual growth as she was, my approach to the Tarot was more modern and progressive; I was fascinated with the symbolism on the Rider-Waite deck and Carl Jung’s use of the major arcana in dream analysis. She was heavily influenced by Aleister Crowley and the Thoth deck, a work we would debate into the wee hours, many times. I would argue that both decks were illustrated by women who were the by product of a society yet to be sexually liberated. I felt the Tarot needed a set of fresh new eyes, and others obviously felt the same way. The number and variety of Tarot decks available now is immense!

Much too soon, I would lose my dear friend to cancer. This was my first real loss in life and one I took very hard. I also felt as if my education had been interrupted and wasn’t quite sure what to do next. It isn’t every day you meet a Gypsy - let alone one who takes you under her wing! Therefore, my introduction to tea leaves was more self-taught and motivated by a desire to support and confirm what I saw in the cards. Admittedly, this quest was also based on a lot of self-doubt. Without my mentor, I felt weak and had little to no confidence in my craft.

I spent months in the library reading books on Tasseomancy, a centuries old and highly intuitive form of divination. This was followed by weekends in Vancouver's Chinatown where an old man used charts printed in English (he could not speak a word) to predict your future. Sometimes he would end your reading with an analysis of the bumps on your head (Phrenology - and surprisingly quite accurate!) while other times, his wife would read your palm. This led to another interest, and so I began to study palmistry (Chiromancy). 

Determined to find a method that would support and validate my predictions, for over a decade now I have explored a wide variety of techniques. From Palmistry to Pendulums, eventually I felt comfortable enough with my own knowledge to compliment my Tarot readings with other forms of divination. The cards provide insight; a greater understanding of the personal dramas that ebb and flow throughout our lives; the lessons we face and why certain people are put in our path; while the leaves provide excellent short term forecasting and more specific details. Then I look to Spirit for a message to share...

Reading for others is obviously my passion and over time, has become a full-time profession. I believe you'll find my work not only accurate, but honest and quite different from others.
