The Technics turntables shown are examples of our work. None of the turntables in the pictures are for sale. This listing is for service and reconditioning repair work only.
The "Buy It Now" covers the estimate fee and approximate return shipping charge only. You checkout and pay for the evaluation fee and approximate return shipping in advance of sending the unit.
If you are considering buying a Technics turntable on eBay that is in need of repair or restoration services, you are welcome to have the seller ship the table directly to us for service. Once we receive the table and perform a quick evaluation, we will send you high resolution pictures of the condition and needed repairs along with the cost. We will also be happy to look at the eBay listing of your possible purchase and provide you with our professional opinion of the condition, estimated repair cost and fair market value of the turntable.
Tech 1 Electronics is offering a reconditioning service for most Technics turntables. The service involves bringing your turntable back to as close to original as possible. The process is simple and the turnaround time is quick once the initial diagnosis and estimate has been completed. There are 5 steps with the service.
1) Contact Tech 1 Electronics with the make, model and description of the needed service. Tech 1 Electronics will advise you of the approximate cost, reconditioning process, shipping address and the recommended shipping practices.
2) Ship the turntable to Tech 1 Electronics using the recommended shipping practices.
3) Once the turntable is received the owner will be contacted with the actual reconditioning cost and expected turnaround time. There is an evaluation fee of $35.00 that is applied toward the total service cost. If you decline the actual service cost the $35.00 is retained for the evaluation time.
4) When complete, your turntable will be packaged for shipping using our brand new shipping boxes and packaging material. The table will then be shipped and insured against damage, back to you.
5) Your turntable is received by you and reassembled using our instructions. You are now ready to enjoy many years of trouble free operation.
Tech 1 Electronics stocks PRB replacement belts, some headshells, phono cartridges by Audio Technica and some parts both new and used for various turntable brands. We also can rebuild and re-engineer some parts that are broken in your current turntable. Dustcover polishing and repair is also available. Note: We are not a parts supplier and are not able to sell you parts. The parts we stock are for our own reconditioning and repair service.

The service is for the lower 48 states only. The shipping cost is paid for, by the owner, in both directions. I have added into the ship calculator the return estimated ship cost based on this size and weight. Box size 22" W x 19" D x 10" H - weight of 26 lbs packaged. This is only an estimate, different box size and weight will change this estimated cost.
