It is designed for a first course on electronic materials given in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics and Engineering Physics Departments at the undergraduate level. Good coverage of topic, heavy on equations
Black and white pages - no color. Some concepts were well covered without equations, but often the book likes to briefly explain a topic and then throw dozens of equations at it until your head spins. Has several sections on specific examples of a concept that may or may not be helpful. A greater emphasis on concepts with equations secondary would have been better.

Not good for learning.
If someone needs to learn these stuff this is not a good book. If you have a the knowledge and want more to cover, then you should consider this a an option.
