What a great product, overall. I upgraded from USB interface and there's definitely a difference in latency for the better. The knobs are sturdy and you can feel each click while turning. The set-up was what I had the most difficulty with. I use Logic Pro for my DAW and I wasn't getting any sound out at first. I checked my system and software preferences and both were defaulting to the PreSonus, so I wasn't sure what the issue was. Not until I opened up the software and toyed around with it, was I able to get sounds out. I also had to manually configure my "pan" settings. It was not panning when I adjusted it in my DAW so I, once again, had to go into the software and set the speaker pans all the way to the left and right for the respected speaker. After doing this, I was able to get pan control. Not what I expected for a device that should be "plug and play." Oh well. Sturdy casing. Feels like you can take it on the road and use in a live setting if need be. The phantom power seems to give me a warmer sound than what I am used to with a USB interface. Probably due to the "actual" 48v Phantom Power. Indicators work. When it's clipping, it's actually clipping. I'd give it a 5 if it weren't for the set-up procedures.Read full review
Picked up the FireStudio Mobile and true to its name works well with or without the DC PSU when connected to the FireWire Port on the MBP. Also Daisy chained it to a FireStudio 2626 and seamlessly increases the number of channels available to the DAW. Pleased with this piece of gear especially for mobile takes on the move. Good build quality .

Just a warning to anyone who has set up issues, it can be confusing when you look to forums as to what the problem actually is. I had a red/blue light which meant the interface wasn't showing up in my audio preferences. I have OS Sierra and you need to download the "Universal Control" and it will then become active. Also you'll need to open the Universal Control app and change the settings to get the headphone jack to work on the front of the mixer. The knobs like to fall off as well, so you may need to glue them back on. Aside from those issues, a pretty decent unit for the price.

I am glad and appreciate assistance of ebay team. This product is amizing for it's size and comply with all my current needs. The product was really Brand NEW (never been opened)as it was written in the review. I haven't learn all features of that product but it will be done soon. One more time i would like to send my thanks for the good ebay support.
Yes, I've owned several Presonus interfaces over the years. This device allows you to create several different monitor mixes. It also adds a MIDI interface but make sure it comes with the special cable. The SPDIF in/out are also achieved by use of this special cable-adapter. The Presonus driver is called Universal Control. Apparently they have an issue with OS10.12 and to my knowledge its yet to be fixed. They offer advise on removing the older version of Universal Control but I've yet to get it to work consistently on my MacPro. If someone has never installed Universal Control on their computer I think their latest driver will work.
