My wife and I homeschool our four children. The 3 year old and 2 year old both love these videos and request to watch them just for fun. I've caught them dancing along with the characters and saying the letter sounds, blends, and digraphs as they watch. Even the 8 year old and 6 year old like watching them because they are fun, even though they are past that reading level. It has helped the 8 year old, who has a bit of a pronunciation problem, to say his words better. Highly recommended.

Preschool prep is an outstanding way for toddlers to learn shapes, letters, colors, numbers, and sight words. This set is the most recent purchase we have made in the series. My 3 year old twins can already recognize the sight words on these DVDs after only viewing it a few times. They ask to watch these DVDs! Highly recommended!

I can't say enough about this series. My son just turned three and he is reading words. He learned them with in two weeks of watching each video. He was entertained by them even though I thought they moved a little slow. I would catch him repeating words even if he wasn't looking at the video and he was playing with something else. He hasn't even turned three and a half and he can do the entire alphabet, letters, colors, shapes and he knows all his site words. I recommend this series for anyone trying to give there little guy or girl a head start or anyone with a child with learning difficulties. This is the best way to teach them. I know buy the series for people I know with small children. The earlier you start the better.
We purchased these videos when we learned that my son's kinder class had not learned very many sight words--this from a Blue Ribbon School. My son loved the animation. I loved the repetitive nature of videos and the many views provided. The advertisement should more readily state that only 45 words are introduced in 3-dvds. Other than that...I think they are on to something with the visual challenge provided through changing the angle, size, textural view, colors, and font types for the words. Kudos to you. I would have preferred an AppleAPP to the cost of 45 words for nearly a dollar a word from my vendor. To get a running start--Parents should try this if they are looking for an early alternative to flash, Hooked on Phonics, or EyeQ early reader.
My first thought when we pushed play was, "Oh gosh, she's going to find this so boring. It'll be a waste of money, how boring!" BUT THEN she started to talk along with the DVD and paid attention to the whole thing. She LOVES these DVD's. We've worked through level 1. We're now on the 2nd DVD and she's picking up these words even quicker than the first. We ended up buying the books that go along with these DVD's and she feels so proud of herself. It's a huge confidence builder! Oh, and my daughter is only 3 yrs 2 months old!
