On my previous treadmill I averaged 18 miles a week for 19 years, it finally gave out and because of its age I could not get replacement parts. I decided on a Precor because in my mind they are top of the line. I have not been disappointed, the soft impact is easy on your knees and the motor and incline is smooth and quiet. The frame is made to withstand use and to go the distance. I recommend using a mat under the treadmill. I bought a horse trailer mat which works great. Cons. Its a must to have a permanent place for setup because its too heavy to move and if you are going to use it for a clothes line I would suggest buying one much cheaper, but if you're committed to health and exercise it is well worth the price. If a person wants a treadmill pretty to look at there are a lot on the market and you wouldn't go wrong buying one. But if you want one for health and to go the distance, there is none no better than the Precor 956i.Read full review
The top of the line treadmill for serious workouts. Best treadmill I ever ran on. Very cushioned deck, so its pretty easy on the knee's. I bought it as an investment in myself for better health.
