       This is a  " open or closed "  indicator to hang from the flue
 door up inside of your fireplace.  If you can see him it's closed,  if not 
 it's  open !!  What a great idea !!   Also stamped in the cast iron , on his ankles  is  J P  for John Wright  original ... made before 1940 . 
       Painted Red which shows it's aged wear (see pics) this measures
   9"  x  3-1/2"  and  1/4" thick ...  this  RED DEVIL  looks really cool in his  appropriate  place.    I'll  pay your shipping  within the  U.S.A. !!
