This Power Switch may be utilized as a replacement for one originally installed in the Marantz 22xx receivers, the 1060 integrated amplifier and others I expect.
Measurements and Technical Specifications:
Two Position / Four Posts
8 amps / 250 volts
Mounting Hole Spread: 13/16 inches
External Shaft length: 3/4 inches
Switch Body: 1 1/8 inches Long x 3/4 inches Wide x 3/4 inches Tall
See simple instructions below as provided for the Marantz 1060 amplifier:
Be sure to remember how the capacitor, jumpers & power leads are attached to the original switch
Remove original switch from frame.
Remove the power leads and capacitor from switch leads
Trial fit the new switch in the unit frame. Find two holes to the left of the button hole, and two to the right.
Drill out two mounting screw holes (5/32 inch bit) on the unit frame - those closest to the center.
Reassemble (Solder) the power leads and Capacitor to new Switch - with "jumpers"
Mount the new switch and fit the button onto the shaft.
Shaft is just a little longer and thinner then the original so you will want to shim the whole switch a little further behind the faceplate with washers rather than cut off the tip of the shaft.
Apply a drop of hot glue (if necessary) to the button hole before fitting it onto the shaft. Do not use other adhesives.
The Harman Kardon 75+ Quad
Two people successfully applied my switches to the Harmon Kardon 75+ QUAD receiver too, but the holes won't quite line up as well. You must carefully, slightly drill out the two existing switch mounting holes on the receiver (or use a round file) until the mounting holes line up. Also, the button hole is a little larger than the switch shaft, so you must apply a little hot glue into the button hole to secure button to switch shaft.
