▬▬ Very Handsome PINK Depression CANDY DISH.

▬▬ Can be used as a Serving Bowl, Candle Dish, or Vase. SORRY: no LID available ▬Not sure it came with one ??

▬▬ Unknown Maker ... Research indicates it may be similar to one made by HAZEL ATLAS. There is no maker's mark of any kind.

▬▬ Dish is Strong and Heavy - Very clean design with no frills. Completely ROUND - as in CIRCULAR rather than even slightly oval or elliptical. Nice PEDESTAL is also simple and elegant. 

▬▬ Rolled upper edge and thick pedestal design allows light to LENS thru these sections. They also cast interesting shadows.

▬▬ Very interesting color: it's PINK, but looks ORANGE under some light...it's really a 'Salmon' color. 

▬▬ These items were mass produced, and there are TWO mold lines are visible - These run up the pedestal and out along the lower portion of the dish, but NOT ON THE UPPER PART. This indicated the upper was APPLIED to the lower.  Mold marks are 180º opposite each other.

▬▬ The dish is very solid ... it weigh about 1 Pound 2 Ounces [ 510 g ]

CONDITION:   9.75 out of 10 EXCELLENT !!

  Since GLASS materials can withstand ordinary use without showing any evidence of that use it is difficult to guess how much use this dish has seen.  It still look new. There are no major scratches ... but a very few extremely small scratches along the outer side (not rim) of the dish. These are miniscule, and not visible without high lighting or magnification. There are no chips, flea bites or warpings of any kind. There is one manufacturing artifact: a line about 3/4" long in the bottom of the dish -- this is a result of the molten glass filling the mold -- it is barely noticed, and typical of this type of glass. The color is 100% bright and uniform.
