About the Manufacturer
Engineer and inventor Karsten Solheim got his start as an engineer working for GE in Ithaca, New York. His passion for the game set him on a journey to create a better putter. At the time he thought he was simply building it for his own personal use, but in 1959, Karsten’s ongoing garage experiments yielded an innovative putter he called 1A design. This putter had very distinctive design qualities, among them, a unique tone at impact, a sound that would echo throughout the game for generations to come…“Ping.” The Anser putter began a long and proud history of truly innovative equipment design throughout Ping’s entire product line (ultimately resulting in over 400 patents) that has set Ping at the top of the list of golf design and manufacturing companies. The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Karsten Solheim has passed away and his son John has taken the helm.

You are looking at a Ping G15 3wood, 15.5 degrees loft, stiff TFC 149 shaft with a full cord grip.  This club is in very nice condition and has been used very little as you can see from the pictures.  I rate at 9.0 on my scale below. This club does come with the head cover in shown in the pictures.

Thanks for looking.  Please contact me with any questions.

10   New! Never Hit. No Shop Wear or any blemishes at all!

9.9  New, Never Hit. May have light shop wear like “rug burn” from being scuffed against the carpet. (WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT?!) May have very light surface scratches from contact with other clubs in the shop.

9.5 Like New! Only hit a few times. In some cases only off a mat. Will only show a few light marks on the face or sole. Paint and shaft will be nearly perfect.

9    Mint. Used for perhaps 1-3 rounds.  Very light scratches on face and sole. Nothing resembling a sky mark at all! Plays like new. You are likely to put more wear on it in one practice session.

8.5  Excellent! Used 4-10 rounds and has little cosmetic wear. No serious scratches or chips in paint. May have a few very tiny flecks or light scratches. May show a little groove wear but is in perfect playing condition.

8   Very Good. Used for a season or two under normal conditions. Irons may have some groove wear. Faces may show some scratching and soles may have small dings on the leading edges. The painted surfaces will be in decent condition with no GLARING blemishes. Any skymarks or scratches will be light and not “through the paint”. Grips will be playable but likely not in “new” condition. Overall playability will be excellent!

7.5  Ugly ducklings! These will not win any beauty contests but may still win a tournament or two! Skymarks, gouges, dings and paint chips will be pretty obvious.

7    These usually go in the “Bargain Bag” at my shop. Don’t list many of these!

Thanks for looking!
