I apparently need Photoshop CS5 for Complete Morons. This 'For Dummies' book is definitely too technical, jumps around too much and is hard to follow. I have Photoshop experience that I learned about 8 years ago, and even reading about things I already knew how to use confused me. I think the author is amazing, but he's too good with Photoshop to be able to break it down in simple terms. I also bought Illustrator CS4 for Dummies and loved that one, if that gives you a better sense of where I'm coming from.
Content not significant, choose another title. Not well written. Fortunately, I purchased two other titles, much more useful.

this book has some helpful tips and information. It is written in a manner that is easy to understand and follow. This is my first "for dummies" book, so far so good. This would be a very good choice for someone just starting out in Photoshop.
