I have 4 dogs and have used the big brands for years. This brand works in exactly the same way as they do. I have not had a flea or tick problem at all and I love the cheaper price too. I would reccomend this product to anyone who has a dog. I am a fan!

I don't know if it's not working or there are just more ticks this year. I have found at least 5 ticks on my dog in the last 3 weeks. I'm not sure if this stuff just isn't any good or what is going on. Hard for me to recommend.

Pet Armor works well on my dog, less well on the cat. My vet--who recommended PetArmor for both of them--explained that it's very effective on killing adult bugs and larvae, but it doesn't kill eggs. So if your pet has those, you need to use something more systemic. I switched to a different drug for the cat but kept using it on the dog, and all is fine. PetArmor is inexpensive and can do the trick in some cases, so I recommend trying it. If it doesn't work well, talk to your vet.
I have a four year old beagle/terrier mix. He plays outdoors, and with other dogs. He has, from time to time over the years, come indoors with a flea or two. I have been using PetArmor for Dogs, rather than the more expensive FrontLine, for over a year now. My dog has NO problems with fleas, ticks or lice with this product. Best yet, this product can be obtained on eBay for a fraction of the price of FrontLine. Obviously I have no problems with FrontLine or its active ingredient(s). PetArmor makes use of exactly the same active ingredient(s) as does FrontLine. However, I'd much prefer to use this product and save my pennies for things more fun for my dog and me.
It is a good value for a dog who spends some time outside in the woods.
