Rosasite, an uncommon copper-zinc carbonate.

A very nice vug of rosasite with very bright calcites sitting around in the vug.

This piece is a rich sample for such a rare species.

An aesthetic, alive-looking piece with such Beautiful passionate teal blue botryroids of rosasite.

 It is contrasted in an elegant manner with the red host matrix.

A lovely, sculptural form with great coverage of this normally rare species.  

This is a new specimen from the January 2010 pocket.

The specimen is from:

Cumbres Vein, Level 6, Mina La Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico  

The specimen is 5.3 by 4.1 by 2.4 cm's in size.
