These *new,* Panasonic original (OEM) batteries are becoming more and more difficult to find. Although this is not common knowledge, these Panasonic brand batteries are actually a cousin to the Energizer Bunny. Like that Bunny, they just keep going and going. ; ) I have been so pleased with mine that I actually bought an extra--just in case I ever need it. The light green replacement batteries for the HHR-PP104 A/1B that you can find almost anywhere may or may not last; one of these that I bought lasted a mere 6 months. If you can find a new, Panasonic battery like this one in the photo for less than $50, jump on it!
