Pair Floral Czech Pottery Vases w/Floral Designs - Peasant Craft Style - Orange

Offered as a lot is a charming pair of small hand painted Czech Art Pottery vases in the peasant/cottage industry craft style.  Predominantly in orange and green on an off-white body, these vases are bright and colorful.  Manufactured by different companies, they go remarkably well as a pair!  My guess is these pre-date World War II.  Both are in "As Found" condition - given they are cold painted there is a small skip/spot or two on each, mostly on the orange paint.   Otherwise, they are detailed below:

Vase#1 is a small 3-footed round cylinder with two applied ring handles on the sides.  It stands approx. 4 1/8" high x 3 7/8" diameter.  Marked on the base "Erphila Art Pottery, Czecho Slovakia" (sic), the overall condition is excellent, no cracks, repairs or discoloration.  There does seem to be a remnant of a long gone paper label on the back side - care should be used not to use "goof off" types of cleaners, as this might remove the cold painted decoration.

Vase#2 is a similar pear shaped, flat bottomed based vase with 2 small applied handles near a narrower neck.  It stands approx. 4 3/4" high x 2 1/2" at the base.  The neck opening is approx. 2 3/8" in diameter.  Marked on the base is a wreath and crown - "Trade Mark Coronet - Czechoslovakia Region".  Condition is not as good as Vase#1 - at some point one of the handles was broken off and re-glued, otherwise no cracks or discoloration.  There is also some fine glaze crazing near the base.
