|Original/Reproduction:||Original UK Newspaper file photograph||Format:||Possibly taken in India during Maharishi period|
A young and kaftan-dressed PAUL McCARTNEY raises his hands in exaltation, in front of some Eastern-style doors in a very rare UK 8 X 10 newspaper file photo from the sixties. Could have been taken in India. The picture is somewhat yellowed with age, but that has actually enhanced it. There is a slight fold down the left side and a corner fold upper left, neither of which can be seen straight-on. There is a sort-of mark on Paul's hair and the left door, but they are superficial, fairly transparent and also cannot be noticed straight on (the scan is unretouched). You must find the right diagonal light to see these markings, becaause the photo looks nicely aged, but unmarked. The only thing on the reverse side it "McCartney" in pen, likely written by the newspaper who retained the photograph.
It is NOT A COPY, but an original vintage photograph. It is sold as an individual work of art. It is a keepsake from my early years in England.
