" Superbly detailed original signed watercolour by highly collected and listed artist Alan Harris. as seen on his website www.alansartgallery.co.uk English artist Alan Harris is renowned for his nostalgic and naive take on everyday life...some say he is the UK's next L S Lowry...with his unique works demonstrating a careful balance of detail from the present and the past. This painting is titled "No dear, they dont sell shoes in there !"...and depicts an image of everyday life as the sale in the hardware store sells most things but not shoes ... The painting measures approximately 550mm x 245mm" and is on top quality watercolour paper.. Alans work is widely exhibited...last year his work "Catch that one Dad" was selected to tour as part of Australias prestigious Cricket Art Prize exhibition....and has recently been exhibiting in New South Wales ...with other shows planned for 2012.
