Original, brilliant indigo blue wool Federal light artillery mounted shell jacket. Carefully displayed on a torso form since 1987 in the office of a Field Artillery Battery Commander in West Germany and to Desert Storm at Fort Hood. In un-issued condition with only three tiny, pencil point moth nips near the left shoulder blade area (see close-up photo). Only the sleeves were lined as there are no needle holes around the shoulder end of the sleeves or anywhere else. A size "3", the inspector stamp is clear in the sleeve lining (see picture). All the original buttons are tight and intact on the front, the cuffs, and the collar. There are no tears or loose seams anywhere. Here is an opportunity to invest in a scarce, and original, Civil War jacket that displays very well.
