Original Tron Halloween Costume  

Ive always been a huge Tron fan, so last year I decided to make an OG Tron costume. The entire project took me about a week to put together and cost me a little over $300, but I'm starting the bidding at $65. It’s a very unique costume that got me a ton of compliments, and I won all 3 of the costume contests I entered.

So here's the details. The body suit is a full body spandex "zentai" suit that I ordered from china. I'm 5'11" and weigh about 195 pounds, and it fit me very well. It's spandex though, so if you're a little bit bigger or smaller it'll still fit just fine. I also had a zipper sewn into the crotch cause I have to pee about every 8 seconds after I start drinking. The helmet was made from an old catchers helmet and some foam. I have a pretty big head(7 3/4 to be exact), but the helmet could fit someone with a larger head, and if you're heads smaller, you could just throw some padding in there to keep it snug. The helmet has a 9V driver hidden in the back that powers the whole thing.

The identity disc(frisbee) frisbee has its own 9V driver underneath, and attaches to the back of the “vest” via velcro...that way if someone at your halloween party is being a punk ass, you can remove it and take them out with one swift throw of the disc. The shin guard/boot covers also have their own independent drivers. The belt, forearm guards, and chest piece all run off of the same driver, and the wiring that powers the forearm guards runs under the spandex so you don’t see it. The shoes are a size 9, so if you have larger feet you probably wanna go to a thrift store and pick up some cheap shoes and throw a coat of white paint on em.

So, everything you need to be a badass tron from the original movie is here. I would recommend buying some cheap white gloves though...they help tie it all together. I’ve attached some pictures so you can see what it looks like while you’re wearing it. In low lighting it really pops....like “light up half the room” pops. But, as you can see in the pictures, if somebody’s taking a picture using the flash it pretty much overpowers the light from the el wire. Everything still functions 100% on the costume, I just need to re-glue a few things, but that’ll be done before I ship it. Also, it’s fairly large, so shipping is $30. I’m making the auction short so you can have it in time for halloween weekend, and if you pay me the same day as the auction ends, I guarantee it’ll arrive by the 28th or you get your money back....so long as you send the costume back to me.
