From the estate of a Portland, OR man we have an original editiorial comic strip by Pat Oliphant from June 2, 1974. It's in great condition but there is some mold on the edges just past the art. I seems to just be on the surface and not touching any of the actual art. It's heavier on the right side (see photo) and very light on the left side. Since I'm not an expert at cleaning mold off art, I will leave that to the buyer. The rest is in fantastic shape. The glued on print is peeling only slightly due to the age. There is just a small bit of yellowing where a matt must have been. It is dated and signed in the upper left corner "1974 Los Angeles Times Syndicate, The Denver Post, Oliphant." It is also dated in pencil in the lower right corner. There is a piece of paper taped to the back stamped with the date of May 31, '74, 5:43 PM. Under that is pencil writing "8 1/2" wide, Sunday Perspective," and under that a stamp that reads, "To Be Syndicated." The entire piece is about 17 3/4 inches across and just over 11 1/2 inches tall. It will be shipped flat in a priority mail board game box. Thank you for looking and if you have any questions, please ask!
