Parting with a large Apple computer collection (this is an annual event) to make room for new projects (including Macs.) My wife and I have both been selling and buying on eBay as collectors and hobbyists since 1997. I have been restoring Apple computers for many years, and have sold many on eBay to fellow Apple enthusiast around the world. Please check out our feedback, read our “About me” section, and bid with confidence.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION

All Original 1984 Macintosh 128k M0001 Serial Number F4119RFM0001 - Ladies and Gentlemen this is an absolutely Mint all original Macintosh 128k Manufactured March 1984. Not yellowed, no cracks or gouges, with original keyboard and mouse. There is not one scratch or even a pinpoint mark on this unit. I am the second owner of this unit, the first owner used it in his garage for several years to track his fly-rod collection before retiring it to the Attic. Absolutely no dust inside or out. The 400k drive has been inspected, had the heads cleaned, and the carriage lubed with the correct lubricant (attracts the least dust.) The carriage is the early type carriage that you usually find on pre-March 1984 units. The drive sled is the early type with the forward drilled screws, in case you've ever wondered why there are the oval cutouts on the bottom of the Macintosh 128k and Mac 512ks face plates, it was to access these early sleds, Apple never changed it later. The face plate is very early as it does not have the stand-off locater for the internal drive bracket as later units did. The logic-board was produced in 1983 (see serial number) with the HITACHI HM4864P-3 DRAM chips (Apple used three different suppliers, the most common were the MT4264 chips.) There are no pry marks on this Mac, There is absolutely no dust inside or out. The sweep/power board is the early type issued before Apple stopped using the top RF shield on these power supplies to provide better convective cooling (the thin metal band at the top of the board), this board has that shield. It has the original 342-0220-A and 342-0221-A ROMS (see photo-the earliest are 220 and 221 with no A suffix). The Chassis is of the early type with the grounding screw attached near the power/video harness, not on the rear as seen with later units (see photo). Both of the apple emblems look new with no loss of paint. Lastly, for the folks who may not be familiar with Macs but want to start collecting, this rear case has all of the signatures of the design team including Steve Jobs, as all Macs made in 1984 do.

Macintosh Mouse M0100 Serial Number G408MO10041222– Original to the unit. It has the short lead of the early M0100 mice. It has been disassembled, cleaned, and works great! Slightly yellowed but very uniform, under florescent lights you can see little or no color variation between it, the keyboard, and the unit.

Macintosh Keyboard M0110 Serial Number G409M011041789- Keyboard is clean and functions great. Original to the unit. It closely matches the unit color. Just as with the mouse, under florescent lights you can see little or no color variation.

Macintosh System Disk (690-5003A), Macintosh Guided Tour Disk (690-5002B), and Apple disk (with MacPaint 1.5 and MacWrite 4.5) – These are tested and working original 1984 Apple beige disks. When I acquired the unit I was told that they are the original disks. Where I believe that the System disk is original to the unit, I'm not sure about the Guided Tour disk? The part number for the Tour disk would be one that started shipping with the Macintosh in May of 1984? Never the less, both A and B versions of the disk were the essentially the same software, only the finder was updated. The Original Blank disk that shipped with the unit is included and it contains MacWrite MacPaint. One original blank Apple floppy sticker is included (original Macs shipped with one blank disk and two labels, one of the labels is already on the disk.)

Macintosh Owner's Guide (030-0687-B), Test Drive A Macintosh Guide - the Macintosh owner's guide is in excellent condition, in the photos you can see where there is damage located. As with the guided Tour disk, I'm not certain that this is the original Manual? This part number would have started shipping in May of 1984. Because of the Serial Number Range of the Unit, this could well be the original Manual, and the tour disk may be original to the unit also, leaving the System disk as not original?Macintosh Owner's Guide (030-0687-B), Test Drive A Macintosh Guide - the Macintosh owner's guide is in excellent condition, in the photos you can see where there is damage located. As with the guided Tour disk, I'm not certain that this is the original Manual? This part number would have started shipping in May of 1984. Because of the Serial Number Range of the Unit, this could well be the The Test Drive A Macintosh Guide” didn't originally ship with the Macintosh, however the included guide is in outstanding condition and an outstanding addition to any early Macintosh collection.

Picasso Accessory Container- This is the original accessory box. This is not the normal accessory box that you see with most units advertised. This is the early issue container that held only three disks, the power chord box, and the programmers switch in the cutouts. I cleaned for hours to remove tape residue from the container, there are some scratches in the Apple logo (see pictures below), but overall it looks excellent. There is discoloration here and there around the seams along with slight yellowing, also there is one crack which can be seen in the photos. The original packing list is included, if you will notice in the picture below this is an early part number list and is quite different from what you normally see advertised (most advertised are the B and C part numbers.) The Original power chord box and correct Original 90 degree angled power chord are included. The original Programmers switch is included. The original unopened sticker package is included. The original warranty card is included.

SHIPPING- This will ship well packed, with this unit it will be double boxed (original shipping box inside of a padded outer box(, and it will be insured for full value). I will ship outside of the United States, BUT, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, duties, taxes or fees, shipping on these will be VERY EXPENSIVE, please verify shipping charges with me before you place a bid or offer! I only charge actual shipping! Shipping will be free in the contiguous 48 U.S States, all other U.S States and territories will have to pay actual shipping charges. I ship within two days of receiving payment, same day if possible. I work and I'm going back to school at 45, my wife works and does what she can, so time is tight, but it will definitely ship in that two day period.

Shipping prices are based on the following for other locations other than the 48 contiguous U.S States=

The dimensions for the box are – 24 (width)x24 (length)x18 (Height) in inches, weight 35 pounds (estimated)

It will ship as USPS internationally, and UPS domestically.

I will not compromise packing it well just to make it cheaper.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. LOCAL pickup up is more than welcome.

We Value your business so if there is any problem after the sale please contact us immediately (within three days). We give positive feedback as soon as we are paid, the way it should be!
