ONKYO Integra CP-1057F audiophile turntable

The CP-1057F was ONKYO’s top-of-the-line turntable with state-of-the-art technology, extraordinary specifications (S/N better than 80dB) and sound.

The Onkyo Turntable CP-1057F is a quartz-locked direct-drive fully automatic turntable with auto lead-in and return, reject, repeat, cue and search button functions, and two-motor micro-computer design.

It has a triple stage isolation system, and a gimble support straight tonearm.

The tonearm and the motor are sitting on a die-cast aluminum alloy sub-chassis, suspended on the molded polymer resin chassis with rubber/spring isolation feet. The turntable rests on oversized feet for further isolation of shock and vibration.

The CP-1057F has an oversized aluminum die-cast platter with 330mm (13”) diameter weighting about 3.5 lbs. The platter mat is made of a solid rubber composite weighting 320g.

The alloy tonearm is 224 mm (8 7/8”) with offset angle of 21 degrees, is a straight-line low-mass style, head shell is made of carbon fiber, one of the best of its kind, counterweight is vibration isolated with rubber coupler built in the tonearm.

This table works excellently: speed is dead on, tonearm mechanism is perfectly aligned, arm moves smoothly. Buttons are sensitive as new, RCA plugs are clean, hinges are new ($35) with identical size of the original ones, but made of full metal instead of metal/plastic combo.

The chassis has marks around the edges (please see pictures), arm, armboard and sub-cassis are excellent, just like the sub-chassis and chassis feet are (shells, polymer, rubber boots and springs are intact). Platter is in very good condition with some marks (please see pictures), platter rubber mat is excellent.

The dust cover is in very good condition, but it has small cracks both sides close to the rear lower corner (see picture 10), otherwise it is clean and clear.

 The TT is very well cleaned. For safe shipping platter, tonearm counter weight, headshell will be removed, tonearm secured, and ample padding will be applied in general. Dustcover will be padded inside and out well above the chassis with hinges removed.
