I have for sale a beautiful ORIGINAL 1920'S -1940's porcelain Union Pacific railroad sign. Sign is made of porcelain front and back. This is the small highly popular version sign which measures at approx 9 3/4" tall by 9 1/8" wide. There are no touch ups on this sign there is some porcelain chipping some slight staining as you can see in the picture and white grayish porcelain with small surface rust dots on the rear and a medium gloss to the front porcelain. Porcelain is a medium shelving level and sign lays flat. Bottom 2 grometts are still attached. These signs were used by the railroad in various ways on truck doors, tool boxes things of that nature. These and the larger version signs had the Overland route banner on them till around 1942 then they quit using the banner   Please check out my detailed pictures for a nice visual description this is such a nice looking design  red white and blue. There are no manufacturers markings I have seen 3 of these original signs never seen a stamping on them have seen larger ones with ie.. Veribrite
