NOT ALL MELTBLOWN IS CREATED EQUAL.

There are a couple of very different technologies used to manufacture this industry mainstay.

Exxon Technology is, by far, the superior system and is considered the industry standard for meltblown.

At ESP, we use this technology exclusively.

While meltblown (polypropylene) sorbents produced by various manufacturers may all look quite similar, they are not. Just as with cars, they all perform differently. Take a high-end sports car for example and compare its performance to that of a mini van. There's a big difference. At ESP, we like to think we produce the sports cars of the sorbent industry. Pound for pound, our products almost always outperform other technologies by a significant margin.

Our modern meltblown production lines produce very fine fibers. For meltblown, it's all about the size and consistency of the fibers combined with "high loft" or air space around the fibers.
