Details about  Nintendo N64 Gateway / Lodgnet development system Rare

Gateway/Lodgenet N64 Development system. This is system is rare and very hard to find. Never have seen one on ebay or for sale anywhere else. Once in a lifetime chance to get a very rare piece of history.

Included in this auction:

 1 Gateway64 engine with 4meg expansion RDRAM and 32meg 60ns DRAM SIMM for ROM image.

 1 Converter box (converts a hotel in-room controller directly to Gateway64 protocol)

 1 Hotel in-room controller

 1 RS-485 cable (connects converter box to Gateway64 engine)

 1 Gateway64 host program installation disk

From the developer I bought this from years ago here is a basic description of lodgenet/Gateway development system:

gateway is one player only. Multiplayer options are not supported on the gateway 64SRam is used as a temporary storage media only in the Gateway 64 system. The gateway 64 system uses dram as a game program memory rather than the mask rom used in the N64. When a guest finishes the game play, the dram is purged"

Gateway64 Host Setup

1. Requires Win 95/98 PC with SCSI card.

2. Requires SCSI cable with a 68-pin wide SCSI end to connect to the Gateway64 engine.

3. Run the setup.exe from the Gateway64 Host disk.
