I don't know much about how these thing but seems to work fine. It was made in Russia, there is no modle numer on it that I can find. I bought it back in 2000 off ebay when I lived in New Mexico. Used it a few times looking at wildlife at night and never used again. I took it out in the back yard last night and it worked okay.
