This gorgeous baby needs to be adopted by a loving mummy.
So realistic and beautiful you will hardly be able to put this cuddly baby down.
I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and have a genuine passion for art and all things beautiful. I am also a qualified beautician and makeup artist which helps greatly when creating my reborns.
I am a young mum at just 28 and when I am not working or running around after my son I love doing anything arty, when I discovered reborn dolls I was mesmerised and could not wait to make one of my own.
I have a special interest in ethnic tones and as my husband and son are of ethnic heritage I get to see these up close and personal every day.
I have used my own blend of Gensis heat set paints to obtain my realistic oriental skin tone, this heat set paint will never fade or rub off.
I have also varnished the finished paint to prevent shine and protect.
I have used quality blown glass eyes on Liu San and can honestly say that these are the most life like eyes that I have ever seen.
I have micro rooted soft black mohair which provides a lifelike look and is tactile. It has taken many many hours to achieve the desired full effect that I wanted. I have glued the hair on the inside so that it can be lightly styled. Hair can be spritzed lightly with a water spray or a cream can be used to define.
I have hand painted and micro rooted the eyebrows, eyelashes are also micro rooted.
I have made the palms of the hands and feet pale and realistic just like real ethnic skin, I have also lightly blushed these to give a healthy childlike look. The nails I have kept pale and drawn inspiration by looking at the shade of my 7 year old sons nail beds.
Liu San has a quality custom made and signed beige doe suede body with disc jointed arms. I have filled with glass beads and fibre fill to obtain a healthy weight of around 5lbs. She is a very nice size and genuinely does feel like a real baby.
Liu San is around 20" long and has full legs and ¾ arms. Her clothes look amazing on her.

I have taken all of my own pictures using a standard digital camera and no enhancement has been done to any of the pictures.
Please nte that Liu San does contain a strong dummy so is not safe to be around pace makers and some electrical items.
*Please be aware that Liu San is NOT A TOY but a collectable piece or artwork and is therefore absolutely not suitable for small children to touch or play with.*
I can sincerely compare the reborning of one of these marvelous dolls to that of an actual labour. Many painful hour are spent in the process however when it is all over you are left with a magnificent and wonderful creature that you have helped to create.
