The reason I purchased this one was to replace the original which had been dropped on concrete and landing on a corner one too many times. It has a highly functional off line mapping app, HERE Drive which I find to be more accurate than a dedicated GPS I purchased when I bought my new car in 2013. Operates on Windows 8.1 and works flawlessly with Windows 10. The only drawbacks are that unless background programs like wi-fi and location services are turned off, it will drain the battery. It's heavier than most of the new high end phones being produced today, but what I value is the build quality of the pre-Microsoft Nokia phones, excellent call quality. At the price this vendor is selling for, I consider it to be outstanding value....Hey, think of it as an offline GPS that you can use as a telephone if you want to, but even without a SIM card, you can communicate on LINE, access Facebook, read and send email. Plain and simple, an outstanding value if functionality is of paramount interest.Read full review

Replaced my Lumia 520 with this one just for better camera reason. found out no Denim update available for 920, camera is somehow better but not much but I didn't realize that most of the apps I installed on my 520 4 years ago are not available anymore. I guess apps market for Windows OS for mobiles is dead. Also, no Windows 10 update option for 920. I paid only $80 for this new phone but still - way heavier and bigger than 520 and don't see much value in it.

I am coming from a Samsung galaxy s3. It broke and I thought to try something different. I got the nokia and its a lovely looking and great feeling phone. I had already tried my friends lumi 820 so I knew it would be very responsive and fast. The 920 is very nice. However, it has frozen on me three times so far. I did so many searches on this phone before buying it and didn't come across anything negative other than the lack of free apps like on android. When I did the search for it freezing then I saw so many other reviews with people having the same issues and complaints. Nokia has not fixed these problems it seems. Different people have different suggestions on how to perhaps stop it. Twice it has frozen when I wasd playing Words With Friends. and other time for no reason. This is after I have done the UPGRADE. Next problem I have with this phone is the Whatsapp. I use it a lot and it is just not good. You cant call contacts directly from the app. you have to leave whatsapp and then go to your call menu etc. also, when using whatsapp the screen is TINY! there is this huge keyboard to type yet you can only see like 3 lines of what people are saying unless you exit the keyboard. sorry this was a rush review. I would suggest getting the s3 over this phone or spending a little more money and getting the HTC one. If you want windows still then go with the HTC 8xRead full review
Windows Phone Operating System is not new to me. I have been using Brand Name such as HTC Touch HD, O2 Atom Life, HTC HD7, Nokia Lumia 820 Black, and recently Nokia 920 Yellow. Experimenting from Apple's IOS to Google's Andriod, and most recently Microsoft's Windows Phone. I don't like sticking to only one operating system as i wanted to try something new. When i found out about the Lumia 920 plus with its extra ordinary accessories e.g. wireless charging - for me this could be it. I've looked into reviews and opinions of other users, and tried it hands-on to have that 1st impression(i'm impressed with it) before getting the product. The other reasons was the Lumia 920 Yellow was that at my native homeland, yellow color is hardly available. Black and white is common everywhere therefore i in need of something new, fancy and stand up from the rest, and Lumia 920 in Yellow, GREAT! Moreover, a 4G LTE capable phone with reasonable price, it's hardly to ignore. No memory card on board, well, its not big dealt for me as iPhone didn't offer as well. I've found out that the Lumia 920 actually easy to operate, seamless navigation, and responsive. All you need to do is swipe to the right, and scroll.Read full review
Take this review with a grain of salt. I have used Android phones for 8 years. This was my first experience with Windows phone. It took me quiet a while to get the contacts set up where I could use my phone contacts instead of Facebook. The phone is great for Facebook however you are unable to load videos. The camera quality is awesome so your photos are great. I used the phone for just under 3 weeks and have switched back to Android because of better selection of Apps. I have decided the phone will be a good backup if needed but will not be sufficient for everyday use for what I need
