The KSC75 is well-known for its incredible sound (compared to the price range). These little powerhouses beat much more expensive models in the sound department. They do lack a little in design and build quality, which is not the sturdiest you'll find. Nevertheless, for the casual and even some more demanding listeners, you can't go wrong with these. As it is, I'm quite blown away by how good they sound.

I'm hard on headphones, and pickier than many to boot. I've been using Koss headphones for a long time, both because of the lifetime replacement/repair, and because the quality's good enough. I listen to a wide variety of music, including a lot of stuff that was recorded live, and many headphones seem to work fine for the studio stuff but make it impossible to hear the live recordings' details. With these, I can not only hear the burr of Dougie MacLean's fraying guitar string, which is my usual test, but I can hear the rosiny bite on the violin downbows as well. That's good enough for me! As a bonus, the connector is L-shaped and sturdier than the straight one on the PortaPros I've been using (the usual failure point for me) but they're so comfortable I can hardly feel them on my ears. You can probably find something still better than these, but not for anywhere near this price.Read full review
Sound Quality was good, but I would not recommend using it in a noisy place. You have to crank the volume all the way up, which may not be good for your ear. Additionally, the headphones are made out of plastic and can feel very flimsy. The earpieces are detachable, which, I found, to be a very annoying feature. They fell apart after my third use. However, once I reattached them, they became loose and wobbly, even for the short duration when I jog. So now, I only use them when I walk or bike in place w/o much movement. The headphone could be great for people who do not wear glasses. If you have glasses, don't get it. If you're looking for something that fits snugly, this might not be it. However, if you're just looking for something cheap with decent sound, then this may be for you.
After researching several inexpensive and highend brands and reading many reviews. I bought these to put inside my MX Helmet, with an iPod velcroed to the outside of the helmet. And WOW, I am very impressed and satisfied with the sound quality and my choice of purchase. The Koss KSC-75 are basically the standard for those who don't wish to spend a lot on headphones but want to take a taste in the audiophile world. Granted the KSC-75's are amazing set of headphones, they are not monitor quality due to there more pronounced bass. They are really just a fun sounding headphone. A problem with them to some is that they are open headphones so people can hear what you are listening to, and are no way noise cancelling, so if you don't care if people hear your music or you want don't want to be isolated from the outside world go ahead and get them. The KSC-75 can rank up with some other more expensive headphones to when paired with a headphone amp, which is pretty insane considering they cost from 9.95 to 19.99. Another plus is Koss's famous no questions asked lifetime warranty. If you plan on just plugging these to an ipod or other mp3 player just do yourself a favor and get them.Read full review
