A Fantastic Computer Controlled Cassegrain Telescope: This 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope is a fully GoTo telescope. It's on board computer knows the night sky. After a short alignment, your telescope will be ready to take you on a tour of the universe. This telescope has a fantastic folding optical assembly that uses a combination of mirrors and lenses to pack an incredible 1200mm focal length in a compact 12.5 inch optical assembly. As a result, this telescope is ideal for both day and night viewing. Images in this telescope are shown right-side up. With a powerful magnification 155x when using the 9mm eyepiece, this telescope is great for backyard astronomy. The big magnification will give you jaw dropping views of the moon. With planets you can see the Rings of Saturn and the Moons of Jupiter and great views of Mars. In dark skies you can see distant nebulae and galaxies as well. Advanced Motorized Mount. The patented design of the iOptron SmartStar-E Alt-Azimuth Mount, a.k.a. The Cube, is probably the most functional and flexible unit on the market. Both axis motors are built into a small single unit. In addition, there are no "dead spots" -- so you can point your telescope anywhere above the horizon, whereas, other mounts block the telescope tube at certain points of rotation. This mount also comes standard with AC connection. An optional DC adapter is available so you can plug your telescope motor into your car if you're camping or at any remote location. The mount also accepts 8 AA cell batteries for use at home or in the field. (Batteries sold separately.) Automatic Computer Controlled Star Finding: The revolutionary GoToNova computerized control system is by far the most technologically advanced automated tracking system available on the market today. With a database of 5,000 celestial objects, including all of the most famous galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, not to mention the planets, you'll be able to enjoy star gazing with the simple push of a button. The GoToNova Controller is much easier to use than other similar products. The hand controller is more intuitive with menu categories better organized. Direct-to-PC Camera. The included camera uses a 1/2" CMOS imaging chip (the same kind used in regular digital cameras) and USB 2.0 to output 2048x1536 pixel images, 3 Megapixels of information. This is an optimal output for high-resolution video monitors and PC displays. Plus, with the USB 2.0 connection, your live video views refresh at rates as fast as 20 frames per second. Included with the camera is a comprehensive digital telescopy software editing suite. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, the software outputs files in nearly every graphics format imaginable, including web standard JPEG, GIF and even PhotoShop .psd files. The software allows you to measure angles, add graphics and text, and do color corrections and contrast adjustments right on your PC screen. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your item to request a return authorization. We are happy to refund your entire purchase price of any item that is returned in its original packaging and in new condition, less our actual original shipping costs.
For items that are not returned with the original packaging and cartons, we do assess an additional 20% restocking fee, provided the items are received in new, re-saleable condition.

Lost or Damaged Items

Warranty Info
We will replace or repair any telescope or accessory that arrived damaged, broken or defective at our expense if you notify us within 30 days after you receive the item.
Other telescope sellers have a simple policy -- no warranty and "buyer beware." We don't work that way. We carry a complete line of replacement parts for these telescopes and we stock them in our own warehouse. If your telescope is defective, we will send you a new part, or repair any broken ones, or send you a new telescope. If your telescope is damaged in shipment, we will take care of any claims with the carrier, it is not your problem, it's ours. Your replacement parts will ship right away, you won't have to wade through the lengthy insurance claims process. That's our promise. Please notify us within 30 days after you receive the telescope to tell us about any damaged, defective or non-working parts and we will take care of it for you. |
