A. SURGE PROTECTOR:
sometimes, if you are using some heaving appliance like motor, enginee, cause the voltage up down very fast,in this moment,
big amp will come into the grid inverter, easy to cause the ac mos burned, so surge protector will cut down by itself to protect the grid inverter.
B. lightning protection:
you may have experience, when meet the big lightning, the power source of the home appliance may damage,same reason,
will also cause the inverter damage, in this moment the lightining protection can release thousand voltage to protect the inverter not damage.
C. HIGH SPEED AC FUSE:
now we put ac fuse outside, each inverter will come our special ac fuse, this will be broken 1mini/sec, to make sure high voltage spike come in!

1.idea for power jack
The inverter can be connected to any outlet at home, when this line run by the conventional electric network. The inverter IC will monitors the volume, frequency and phase of the home grid, then produce a pure sine wave that the frequency and phase will be match the grid's, and the volume will be higher than the grid's, then according to our current controlled PWM, to control the output power to the grid. The inverter will puts out power when the home grid is on.
2. why use power jack grid tie inverter?
when you use solar panel through grid tie inverter, your home power meter will reduce the speed(if you are using other electric appliances), or your home power meter will backward(if you are not use any appliances)
3. difference of power jack grid tie inverter
traditional grid tie inverter is the solar panel are connect in series, so if one solar panel did not work or bad efficiency, then the whole system will be effects, but power jack grid tie inverter, you can use every inverter in parallel, in this moment, each inverter has it's own MPPT, can make every solar panel got the max power.
4. island protection
power jack grid tie inverter has 3greens light, when the charge fucntion is normal, then this 3lights will turn on, but if there are not dc sources(like in the night, no sun shine or raining day), the red led light will turn on, the inverter will stop to work, in this moment, the inverter will close the door, the home grid power will not back to inverter.
Power Jack doing the grid tie inverters about 5years, every year has new version to improve the reliability.
Power Jack maybe not the best provider for grid tie inverter, but they have good marketing experiences,
they know where is the problem for the customer have.
Now the major problem has 2points:
1. first set up, sometimes spike voltage come into inverter, or not reliable home voltage cause the inverter dead.
2. for long time use, sunddly has high spike come in or un reliable voltage up-down.
So what’s the different for the New version for 2013, 5.0 600w grid tie inverter with the old version ?
1. Two step Spark voltage protection:
When set up or unresonable remove the inverter, there are some voltage still stay in the inverter, in this moment, inside voltage will go to 700-800v,
the high voltage will kill the mosfet & some components. The first protection will assimilate the high voltage down to 300-400v,
if the inside voltage still high, the second protection will release the rest .high voltage go to the ground. All the protection respon time only mini 2-3 seconds.
This 2 new design, already make 3months reliable testing, full power testing, there is nothing happened for the inverter.
2. The old version adopted SMD components in the back of PCB board , they may drop or damage easy during carriage .
And the new version change to DIP plug-in board ,would not happened the situation as the old version .
3. Capacitor : old version adopted 2 general big capacitors , new version adopt 6 pcs small high frequence and low impedance capacitors which from Taiwan ,
Because they closer to the transformer , can get smaller calorific values , the filtering effect would be better ,and higher lifetime .
4. .High frequence rectifier tube : old version adopted 10 pcs rectifier tubes , new version only 5 pcs rectifier tubes ,
so that can reduce 40% calorific values than old version .
5. Filter capacitor: old version used 2 pcs small filter capacitors . New version used a big filter capacitor instead of
those 2 small filter capacitors , so can reduce 40% calorific values than old version ,and can get higher effiency .
6. Thunder protection : New version have thunder protection , there are two piezoresistors can release the instantaneous
high-voltage which produced by thunder through ground wire into ground .
7. There are double AC High voltage absorption device
The first one consisted of gas discharge tube and resistor , can obsorb the instantaneous
high-voltage which produced by inside island effects , can protect the inside component .
The secone one consisted of mosfets , resistors, and internal detection circuit , it also will obsorb the instantaneous
high-voltage caused by inside island effects .
8. Effiency for New version input and output
When DC input is 300w , AC output effiency can reach 92%
When DC input is 400w , AC output effiency can reach 89%
When DC input is 500w , AC output effiency can reach 87%
When DC input is 600w , AC output effiency can reach 86%
9. Cooling fan : the fan dimension for old version is 45mm *20mm , the new version is 60mm*20mm, much biger than old version ,
and power is 4 times higher than old version , and cooling effiency is higher .
The fan could not operate below 400w .
The fan with intermittent operation between 400w to 500w
The fan operate when reach 500w-600w , and inverter keep working .
10. LED light , old version adopt 4 pcs LED light , new version adopt a two-color light
11. Signal manage chip : the old version adopt general signal manage chip , and new version adopt 2 signal manage chip from
Microchip
12. 。New version adopt import manage power IC ，CPU , Microchip from USA
13. New version have one more single control board , it have isolation effect and can replace easy .
