Near Mint Hamilton Men's 14K Solid Gold Wrist Watch, "Automatic K-203"

This Hamilton wrist watch is dated 1959 by the presentation on the back from Standard Oil Co. of California Family to an employee. I would say the watch has been worn for just a few weeks from the amazingly good condition of the case and strap. The case, clearly marked 14K insides and out, has all the original finish, no wear, and only some very light handling marks. The dial is actually not perfect because the hands did not move for so long that they left vague markings from the fading around them. This is visible in the image. The original Hamilton marked strap has almost no wear, but does have an extra hole added to shorten the strap to fit the owner's wrist. The buckle is original and marked Hamilton and 14K. This is a very, very nice and minty Hamilton that is over 50 years old. I'm not positive about the model, but this might be the "Automatic K-203". Vintage watches in this condition are very scarce.

This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but please be aware, I do not know the service history of this particular watch. This watch may, or may not, need to be cleaned and oiled soon.
