If you live in mosquito country, but also care about the health of yourself and your family, this is a great choice—far more effective than citronella, eucalyptus, etc., but (apparently) without the toxicity of Deet. Unfortunately, it will repel mosquitoes only where it is applied (if there's a 5" circle with no spray skeeters may still bite you there) but with careful application, and spreading it a bit by hand, it works very well.

I've been using this product for a few years. I wanted something more in the natural side for my kids and stumbled across this. It smells decent, sprays nicely (smooth, light, continuous), and works REALLY well! Mosquitoes love me but stay away when I have this on! And no ticks on the kids when they come home from camp!

In all honestly this does not seem to work very well for the ticks in my neck of the woods. I bought it to avoid using any of the toxic topicals, collars or pills that the vets prescribe. Seems to help with other insects though so I don't want to disparage the product. I'm going to try increasing the amount that I put on the dogs....they are not happy about any of the herbals because of the smell....but I just can't bring myself to put caustic chemicals on my animals.

excellent product does a good job of repelling mosquitoes and other insects without the strong odor and potentially toxic side effects of DEET. The spray works very well even upside down.

This stuff has worked for me for a fee years now, much better than anything else and without the harm other similar stuff does to your health. You also don't feel it on you like other sprays or lotions.
