"Pink Navajo"

Original Oil Painting by Ozz Franca - 1989

This is a beautiful original Ozz Franca oil on canvas painting, titled "Pink Navajo". This painting in the frame measures approx. 43" by 55". The picture is 35" by 46-3/4". Wonderful warm colors and attention to detail ... this original painting is stunning!

This original oil painting is from a collection of Ozz Franca artwork that came from a lady who was friends with Ozz down in Palm Springs Calif. Born October 2, 1928, Ozz França (pronounced FRON-suh) grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and from an early age showed talent as an artist. Ozz passed away in 1991.

  

These pictures absolutely do not do this piece justice. The colors are much more vibrant than the pictures show. Painting is signed in the lower right corner.

  

This spectacular work of art comes beautifully framed and matted in a pink wood frame that compliments the painting. Frame size is 43" by 55". Back of painting is signed by Ozz Franca, with the title "Pink Navajo" and "c. 1989 Original Oil".

 

What a great original oil painting to add to any art collection!

At one point in his life Ozz worked doing movie illustrations for Walt Disney. His projects included "Lady and the Tramp" and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". França painted many subjects, but he is best known for his esoteric images of Native American women.
