Night of the Living Dead Night of the Living Dead is amazing. It might feature some cheesy performances and very little special effects (it was the 60's) but George A. Romero took an idea and turned it into an instant classic. Romero had a small budget and little special effects and he still managed to make one of the scariest movies ever made. I still enjoy watching this movie every now and then just to remind myself what started it all and how far we've come. Final Verdict: 4/5 Rent or Buy?: If you're a horror fan this is a must buy. If you're just looking to see what all the fuss is about rent this one today. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.
I am a big fan of old horror movies..I enjoy this one very much..I would recommend this movie...If you like a lot of action and being scared this is the movie for anyone except small children..I like the way the actors portray the dead in this movie...Also the makeup is excellent...Dont get me wrong I like the newer horror movies just as much..But the old ones are the classics....
A cult classic horror film! What great suspense is all about! It's the tension and whats NOT seen, that can be the scariest! If you like being scared in a realistic way (not all about special fx and blood/gore) then get this movie! A cult (no budget) b&w film from the 1960's, that STILL holds up. Watch it at night, lock the doors, turn the sound up..... and maybe board-up the windows....just to be safe!!!
Very Good, worth watching

Tries to do gore on the cheap and fails. Even though it is B&W all the blood still looks like chocolate. Tries and FAILS to use a black protagonist so that someone, somewhere might try to infer some social commentary with the film.
