Etech Galaxy Return Policy (Revised June 15, 2011)
Please be sure you
understand and agree to these terms before you buy. The return policy is
different for items shipped outside of the continental United States (see
“International Returns” below). Etech Galaxy allows returns of laptops up
to 14 Days after laptop has been delivered. Please note all returns must
be in original packaging and have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
number issued by E-tech Galaxy. The following conditions apply to all

- NEW - Unopened and sealed – Full refund for the
cost of the laptop. (excluding any shipping and handling charges paid by
the customer). The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
and insurance to return item to Etech Galaxy.
- OPENED but not used. – Full Refund
less 15% (restocking fee) for the cost of the laptop. “Not used”
means that all settings are set to original factory settings with no
passwords or customer software installed. (Note: a Windows 7
operating system will startup and show “starting windows for the first
time” if it is new and unused).
- OPENED and
used – Refund varies based
on condition of the laptop and the time it takes a technician to restore
laptop to factory settings. Typically the refund is 85% of the cost
of laptop minus an additional $30-$60 fee for technician to inspect return
to factory settings. More serious issues may require additional
– If with 14 days laptop is
deemed to be defective then Etech will issue a full refund for the cost
of the laptop and all shipping and handling fees paid by the customer.
The customer is asked to first contact manufacturer for
technical support. (Some items can easily be fixed over the
telephone). If a customer cannot resolve issue with manufacturer
representative then please contact E-tech Galaxy via email within 14 days
of receipt. After 14 days has elapsed the customer must deal with
the manufacturer for all future issues.
If your item has already shipped or it is after 9am on the day
it is to be shipped, please refer to our return policy. (Note: we normally ship
on the next business day after purchase has been made. Shipments are processed,
packaged, and ready for pick up in the morning. Shipments are picked up any
time after late morning. We check phone messages at 9am to see if any
cancellation requests have come in. If you have a need to cancel an item
after 9am on the day it is to be shipped, please refer to our return policy for
