(Note: a Windows 7 operating system will startup and show “starting windows for the first time” if it is new and unused). 3) OPENED and used – Refund varies based on condition of the laptop and the time it takes a technician to restore laptop to factory settings. Typically the refund is 85% of the cost of laptop minus an additional $30-$60 fee for technician to inspect return to factory settings.
