No more expensive aviator watches!!! The Atlantis 100 has usually lasted 4-5 years, but I get a new one every few years, and keep my old ones for dirty projects. It has everything I need as a flight companion: multiple time zones, alarms, easily readability, Indiglo!!! Very light and comfortable to wear, unlike the expensive and bulky aviator models that usually konk out prematurely, leaving you frustrated and penniless...

Overall the watch is the typical timex dependability. However I work nights and need the indiglo function, which this watch has, but the button is so stiff, I can't get it to work. I buy timex because they normally hold up to my busy rough lifestyle, truely disappointed in this watch.

PROS: From a pragmatic standpoint, this watch is fantastic. I've bought 5 so far (gave one to my dad and have extras for the future). It has a really great Indiglo light to see in the dark--most watches have a pathetic little light but this one allows you to see the time perfectly in the dark. If you hold the Indiglo button for a few seconds, it stays on for about 10 seconds. The date, day-of-the-week and time are all viewable simultaneously which is great--no having to press one more button to view the date. It's a really durable watch. CONS: Although the watch says water resistant, don't go swimming with it--that's why I had to buy another and ended up buying extras. I guess it just means you can get it wet, but not much more. (Not sure what the 100 meters refers to if it couldn't handle me swimming at the surface of a swimming pool.) The watch *IS* very durable, but only with normal wear. I wore one once during a mechanical bull ride and twisted the band--had to get the band replaced, so YMMV.Read full review

after having this watch for about a month i can say that i am a bit disappointed with it. first of all, the image on the auction shows an atlantis 100, but the product is actually an "expedition" that looks very similar. the "expedition" buttons are labeled differently than shown. that aside, the things i wish were better are that the indiglo button is very difficult to press (tiny and requires a lot of pressure...if you have larger fingers it hurts a bit to push the button). the light does not stay on for as long as you press it and is not very bright. also, the numerals are smaller than i had hoped (harder than other watches to read at night without my glasses). it is a nice watch; i am not looking to return it, but you might want to check out others before deciding on this one. handle it in a store first.Read full review
