Jackie Collins at her best. I love to read all kinds of novels, but there is nothing like a good ole trashy let's get it on book, like Jackie can create. But even though the style is trashy, her characters for the main part are classy and respectable. Her characters are also very easy to become involved with, so when you finish the book, you feel like you have lost a friend. But Jackie does not disappoint, there will always be a new one. I loved this book and her books just keep getting better and better. Lucky Santangelo is by far one of my favorite characters. and Jackie is a true artist.
I LOVE THIS BOOK. I absolutely love the Lucky Series. I was excited when I heard a new book in the series was out. Reading this brought all the memories of the previous books back. I loved the new adventures. I love the dialouge she uses. It's so raw and exciting. Anthony's characters outrages me. It's hard to believe some men out there actually think this way. Over all, this book was another hit! I hope she continues with the series or produces another series like these! Go get it today!!
First off... I LOVE Jackie Collins' books. I've read them all. I Loved all the Lucky books - except this one. Everything in this novel was a regurgitation of other plots in all her other Lucky books. I felt as though Jackie rushed this book - or was made by her publisher to rush this book - she had no new ideas for it, so she resurrected all her old plots, put different names to the characters and wrote a piece of crap. EVERYTHING that happened in this book, happened to someone else in her other books. I read the whole thing in two days, rolling my eyes constantly & sold it on ebay as fast as I could. Sorry Jackie, this was trash.
I love the stories about the Santangelo Family in Jackie Collins's books. Gino and his family always manage to get into trouble (even though he's an old man now). This story involves his daughter "Lucky" and her own daughter (Maria) Max. When Max gets into trouble Lucky is beside herself with worry but manages to remember how she was at that same age and how her life managed to turn out. Jackie includes suspense, sex and history in many of her stories.
If you love Jackie Collins you will love this book. Jackie Collins is back in her classic book writing way. Summertime is a great time to pick up this book and read it. Great Beach material. She can wisk you away from your boring world and put you right in the middle of her fun world! Good Read!
