This copper shielded cable is designed to be directly connected to the 19-pin port of Apple IIc, IIgs or to a floppy controller with a 19-pin connector inserted in a slot of Apple II ,II+ or IIe.

 

Lots of floppy drives such as Disk ][ drive and various 3rd party Apple II compatible 5.25” slim floppy drives cannot be used with Apple IIc, or Apple IIgs (without an additional controller) and with it these Disk drives become compatible with the described Apple computers. They also can be connected as a last drive in the daisy chain after 3.5" and 5.25" Disk drives, if such disk drives are connected to the system.

 

The fact that this cable is copper shielded contributes to the excellent characteristics and the stable work of the disk which it will be used with.
